HERMON FUN DAY SAT 28TH JUNE EGG THROWING FESTIVAL EGGSTRAVIGANZA
The Cylch Meithrin Hermon Charity Kids Nursery is once again organising its famous Egg Throwing Festival on Saturday the 30/06/06. he event includes a Carnival, Sports, Car boot, Vintage Machines, Face Painting, Food & Drink and many stalls held on the Hermon Community Playing field, North Pembrokeshire.
Heart of the Dragon Festival, Newcastle Emlyn.
On Saturday 17 March a mysterious Dragon's Egg, found floating in a coracle down the River Teifi in Newcastle Emlyn last July, will travel to Dublin to appear at the Dragon Parade as part of the St Patrick's Day festivities there.
The Egg, a symbol of the rebirth of the Dragon of Wales, is due to hatch at this year's Heart of the Dragon Festival at Newcastle Emlyn on 7 and 8 July.
The Festival will be a celebration of Welsh mythology, art and culture.
Held at and around Newcastle Emlyn castle, traditional site of the death of the last Dragon of Wales and one of few castles in Wales to have been built by the Welsh, it will include a medieval fayre, theatrical performances, music, song, storytelling and processions as the baby dragon is born from the egg - we hope!
In the lead-up to the Festival, dragon art and storytelling workshops are being held across schools and community groups throughout West Wales and dragons are being built and created.

When I first saw the red, black and green long and majestic flags flying at the castle, my breath was taken away with what you had created....and the white and gold around the lower ground shone delicate beauty.
It was a joy to work with you, as you so sensitively 'tuned in' to what we were wanting to create, and the special motifs you had stitched onto different banners helped so much set the scene.
It was a real pleasure to work with you, Thankyou.

Outerpower will be in attendance at Celtic blue rock this year. We will be hosting an exhibtion trade stand demonstrating power genertion fueled with bio deisel, a sound & lighting demo, open mic session, free mobile phone charge and a shop focusing on wind generated sports toys . Special guest djs from Cardiff Dan Smith & Russell Buchan will be dominating the decks with an ecclectic mix of house, break beats and trance later in the evening. Find us in the eco zone.
Gwyl Macs Music & Skate board festival
Find us at Gwyl Macs Festival this year situated on Carmarthen showground offering free mobile phone recharging and a kite/festival survival shop.
Outerpower will be providing flags, equipment & event decor for this event.
West Wales Caravan, Motorhome & Outdoor Pursuits Show
West Wales new Caravan, Motorhome and Outdoor pursuits show will be heading off to a flying start this year over the weekend of the 18th, 19th and 20th of April. Outerpower will be in attendance at this event providing flags and decor. Find us near the main gates to view and purchase outdoor equipment.
